Bahrain Aluminum Plant Becomes the Largest Single Primary Aluminum Plant in the World

         Recently, Bahrain Aluminum Plant's latest six series of electrolytic cells have been put into operation, which has made its total capacity of raw aluminium reach 1.5 million tons per year. It has become the largest single raw aluminium plant in the world and the top of the world's original aluminium enterprise Taishan. Series 6 electrolyzers use the patented DX+Ultra electrolysis technology of Universal Aluminum Corporation of the United Arab Emirates. There are 424 electrolytic cells in 6 Series in Bahrain Aluminum Plant, the length of which is about 1500 m and the length of workshop is about 1600 m.

It is reported that the DX+Ultra electrolysis technology developed by Universal Aluminum Company of the United Arab Emirates has a history of 26 years and is the first time that this technology has been transferred.
