Chronicle of Events

　　1974 State-run Xichuan Ferroalloy Factor was established.

　　1986 With the factory manager responsibility system implemented, the enterprise rapidly turned a loss into a profit and became the biggest production base of ferrosilicon in Henan Province.

　　1992 The first 6,000t/a production line of electrolytic aluminum was put into production, achieving the change of leading products from ferrous to non-ferrous metals and filling up the blank of aluminum in Nanyang District.

　　1997 The first 7,000t/a production line of aluminum cast rolling was built,achieving the change from an enterprise merely smelting to an enterprise smelting and processing.

　　2002 System reform was successfully completed, with the state-owned assets exiting in one go, achieving the change from a state-owned enterprise to a private enterprise.

　　2004 The 23,000t production line of cold-rolling aluminum plates and strips was put into operation, actualizing the change from low to high value-added products.

　　2006 With 5#6#7# cast rolling and 2# cold rolling put into operation, the output ratio of aluminum smelting and processing reached 1: 1.5, achieving the change from high to low energy-consumption industry.

　　2008 The 100,000t wide aluminum foil billet and PS sheet project was into operation, which could produce the widest aluminum foils in China, helping the enterprise’s leading product to move to an advanced level at home and abroad.

　　2009 With Nanyang Tianyu 100,000t/a PS sheet product put into operation, the enterprise succeeded in development outside Xichuan for the first time.

　　2010 With the energy-efficiency and emission reduction project of electrolytic aluminum put into operation, the enterprise laid a solid foundation for its rapid development.

　　2011 With 1250mm cast rolling and 1250mm cold rolling put into operation, the enterprise achieved the chain production scale for wide, medium and narrow aluminum plates and strips, meeting the market demands and enhancing its integrated competitive strength.
