Henan puts an all-out stop to "one size fits all" emission reduction

It is understood that since late October, Henan Province has entered the most unfavorable stage of meteorological conditions in a year, with frequent occurrence of haze. In response to the coming heavy pollution weather, the Provincial Department of ecological environment is making action plans, revising emergency emission reduction measures, promoting the special treatment of "three scattered" pollution, and comprehensively implementing the green environmental protection scheduling system.

In order to put an end to "one size fits all", this autumn and winter, Henan Province will comprehensively implement classified management and control measures for key industries. At present, the province is accelerating the selection of green environmental protection leading enterprises to prepare for the implementation of differentiated control measures. In the province, 15 key industries, such as iron and steel, coking, alumina, electrolytic aluminum, carbon, copper smelting, ceramics, glass, lime kiln, casting, oil refining and petrochemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide, coating and ink, will be strictly rated, classified and refined, a, B and C enterprises will be determined, and differentiated emergency emission reduction measures will be taken. In principle, class A enterprises may not take emission reduction measures during the period of heavy pollution weather.
