It has the outstanding characteristics of thick industrial foundation, good industrial foundation, low cost factors, various resources and strong smelting capacity. It has fostered enterprises such as Dongxing aluminium industry and Mingdi aluminium industry as representatives. High-end aluminum industry cluster. Shandong Province has a strong industrial strength, especially in the aluminum processing industry. It has obvious advantages such as industrial concentration, perfect industrial chain and leading technology. At present, the annual production capacity of alumina, the compliance capacity of electrolytic aluminium and the processing capacity of aluminium materials in Shandong Province rank first in the country. In 2018, the total industrial output value of the province's aluminium industry was 244 billion yuan, an increase of 12.35% year on year, and the economic benefits increased steadily. The high-end alloy products produced by the key enterprises of Shandong Province, such as easy-to-pull cans produced by Weiqiao Aluminum Electricity and aviation aluminium produced by Nanshan Aluminum Industry, account for more than 40% of the domestic market share.

During the docking meeting, Gansu Metallurgical Non-ferrous Industry Association signed a cooperation agreement with Shandong Aluminum Industry Association. Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group and Gansu Guotong Company signed a project cooperation agreement for the construction of Alumina Logistics Distribution Center in the west of Lanzhou New Area. In the coming days, more than 40 enterprises organized by Shandong Aluminum Industry Association will go deep into Baiyin, Jiayuguan and other places in Gansu Province to understand the resource advantages and investment environment of undertaking industrial transfer on the spot, and conduct docking talks with local governments and relevant enterprises.
