China is about to exempt tariff on unwrought aluminum alloy produced in Pakistan

At the beginning of 2019, Dexin metal (Pakistan) Co., Ltd. (operated in the name of Vig Pak recycling), the first Chinese invested recycling project, was launched. Mr. Bader, commercial counsellor of Pakistan in China, actively coordinated with China's import tariff issues faced by the export of unwrought aluminum alloy. At present, the import tariff of unwrought aluminum alloy from China to Pakistan is 5%, which is significantly higher than the zero tariff from Malaysia and other ASEAN countries, which is not conducive to the investment of China's renewable aluminum enterprises in Pakistan. With the signing of the new China Pakistan Free Trade Agreement and the efforts of all parties, the unwrought aluminum alloy products have been included in the first batch of duty-free products through FTA. From December 1, China will exempt tariffs on unwrought aluminum alloy produced in Pakistan.
